Google to let publishers to set limits miffs Murdoch

Recently, news mogul Rupert Murdoch has threatened to team up with MSN’s Bing for exclusive access to his online news.Google vs Murdoch 2009

On Dec 1, Google struck back with their own approach by letting publishers set a daily limit for readers of five free articles per day.

While this deflates Murdoch’s approach which itself could have become mired in anti-competitive issues, it maintains Google’s lucrative advertising profits from its search engine.
